ManamelAI Terms of Use

1. General Provisions

  1. These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern the rights and obligations of users of the ManamelAI mobile application (the "Application") and its operator.

  3. The Application is designed for managing beehive inspections through voice recording, automatic transcription, and AI-based extraction of structured data from hive inspections.
  4. By registering and using the Application, the user agrees to these Terms.

2. Registration and User Account

  1. Use of the Application requires registration via email and password, or sign-in through third-party services (Google, Apple).
  2. Users must be at least 16 years old. By registering, the user confirms they meet this requirement.
  3. The user is required to provide accurate information and keep their login credentials confidential.
  4. The Operator reserves the right to block or delete an account in the event of a breach of these Terms.

3. Description of Service

  1. The Application enables:
    • management of apiaries and hives,
    • voice recording of hive inspection sessions,
    • automatic transcription and AI processing of voice recordings,
    • display of structured inspection results,
    • offline operation with automatic data synchronisation when internet connectivity is restored.
  2. The Application uses third-party services for speech recognition and artificial intelligence to process voice recordings. The quality of outputs depends on recording quality and speech clarity.
  3. Voice recordings made during an inspection are sent to the Operator's servers for processing.

4. Pricing Model

  1. The Application offers core features free of charge.
  2. Premium features may be available for a fee via subscription. Current pricing is listed within the Application.
  3. The Operator reserves the right to change the scope of free features with prior notice to users.

5. User Rights and Obligations

  1. The user is entitled to:
    • use the Application in accordance with these Terms,
    • export their data,
    • delete their account and request erasure of their data at any time.
  2. The user is obliged to:
    • use the Application for lawful purposes only and in accordance with its intended use,
    • not record third parties without their knowledge and consent,
    • not interfere with the technical operation of the Application,
    • not distribute any content of the Application without the Operator's consent,
    • not place disproportionate load on the Application's infrastructure, in particular by repeatedly uploading content unrelated to beehive inspections or using the service to an extent significantly exceeding normal use.
  3. The user bears full responsibility for the content of their voice recordings and submitted data.

6. Operator Rights and Obligations

  1. The Operator endeavours to maintain availability of the Application within its technical capabilities but does not guarantee uninterrupted service.
  2. The Operator reserves the right to:
    • perform maintenance and updates to the Application,
    • temporarily restrict availability of the service for technical reasons,
    • amend these Terms with prior notice to users.
  3. The Operator processes voice recordings solely for the purpose of providing the service (transcription and data extraction). Recordings are not used for any other purpose.

7. Liability and Limitations

  1. The Operator is not liable for:
    • the accuracy of automatic transcription and AI data extraction,
    • data loss caused by failure of the user's device,
    • unavailability of third-party services,
    • damages arising from decisions made on the basis of data from the Application.
  2. AI outputs are informational in nature. Users are responsible for verifying the accuracy of extracted data, particularly information relating to the health status of their hives.
  3. The Operator is not liable for voice recordings of third parties made by a user without their consent.

8. Intellectual Property

  1. The Application, its source code, graphic design, and content are protected by the Operator's copyright.
  2. The user may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Application without the Operator's written consent.
  3. Data entered by the user (inspection records, hive data) remains the property of the user.

9. Termination

  1. The user may stop using the Application and delete their account at any time.
  2. Upon account deletion, all user data including voice recordings, transcripts, and inspection records will be removed. Erasure will be carried out without undue delay, within 30 days at the latest.
  3. The Operator may terminate the provision of service to a user in the event of:
    • a serious breach of these Terms,
    • user inactivity for more than 2 years,
    • discontinuation of the Application.

10. Privacy

  1. The processing of personal data is governed by the separate Privacy Policy.

11. Final Provisions

  1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
  2. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of the Czech Republic.
  3. The Operator reserves the right to amend these Terms. Users will be notified of changes via the Application or by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
  4. If the user does not agree to the amended Terms, they have the right to delete their account.
  5. These Terms take effect on 21 February 2026.
